The EF-76 Nebulon B-series hospital frigates were built by Kuat Drive Yards and were originally designed for the Imperial fleet of ships. The frigates are equipped with a hyperdrive, have medium armament to defend themselves in case of doubt, and can accommodate up to 700 patients to be cared for by 850 crew members. At times, a Nebulon B frigate has also served as a mobile headquarters for the Rebels. On the Nebulon B "Redemption" Luke Skywalker received his mechanical arm after his encounter with Darth Vader, cared for by his sister Leia. As a primary hospital ship, the "Redemption" formed an important part of the Rebel fleet and also served in the fight against the second Death Star.
The model was originally designed by "mortesv". The original model was examined brick by brick and changed profoundly, especially with regard to the internal structure. The instructions were also rebuilt from scratch. The display stand includes a tribute to the scene from the movie where Luke, Leia, C3-PO and R2-D2 look after the Millennium Falcon flying away. Appropriate space is provided for the figures. In the model itself, this scene is depicted with micro figures. The instructions were professionally made and are available as PDF. The sticker for the plaque can be purchased here additionally.
